The Mi 5x was launched last month in China along with Mi 6 and went on sale on August 1, but were available only in China. From a recent tweet from by Xiaomi, it appears that the company is going to launch the Xiaomi Mi 5x on September 5, Xiaomi has also started sending media invites for the launch event in New Delhi of its flagship dual camera smartphone.

The teaser says “Flagship dual camera” and the arrangement in the image shows the dual camera setup. There are two sensors (wide angle lens and a telephoto lens) one large and a smaller one, same setup we saw on Xiaomi Mi 5x and Mi 6. The company already revealed that Mi 6 will not reach the country, so we cannot expect Mi 6 to be released in India.

Xiaomi Mi 5X features a 5.5 inch Full HD LTPS (Low-temperature polysilicon) IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels, 403 PPI pixel density and 70% screen to body ratio.
The device is powered by 2-GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 octa-core 64-bit SoC along with Adreno 506 GPU paired with 4 GB of RAM. On the top it will be running on Android nougat, Xiaomi Mi 5X comes with Stable MiUi 8.5 and 3,080mAh battery.
Talking about the camera Xiaomi Mi 5X sports a dual rear camera setup, 12-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture. On the front, Mi 5X has a 5-megapixel camera which supports 1080p video recording with real time beautification.
Xiaomi Mi 5X will be Coming in Black, Gold and pink color with 4 GB Ram with 64GB Internal Storage variant and most probably will be priced at₹.14,000.
