Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are Rumoured to be launched in MWC 2018

We’ve been seeing various leaked information and pictures of upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones, but now it is confirmed that Samsung is planning to launch Galaxy S9 and S9+ mobile phones at Mobile World Congress (MWC) event which is going to be held in Barcelona in 2018 February. However, a sneak peek of Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will go live on CES event and this launch is way much earlier than the Galaxy S8 series which was officially launched March 2017.

Talking about the MWC event, it’s been a good platform for both giant and start-up smartphone manufacturers to showcase their mobiles to the world market and almost all big companies are going to be ready with their upcoming flagship smartphone in MWC event. So Samsung has decided to showcase their next galaxy series device S9 and S9+ smartphones in MWC event which will be conducted in between February 26th and March 1st, 2018.

News Company The Bell reported that Samsung has scheduled to launch S9 and S9+ flagships on February 27th in the local time of South Korea, So the official launch event will take places sometime on February 26th for both North American and European regions. The Bell has also said that the recent launch of iPhone X created a significant growth of Apple brand in global smartphone markets so Samsung wants to compete with Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones in the world market.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Leaked Renders

Let’s check out the recent renders leaks of Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ devices, Tipster @Onleaks has shared some of the renders of upcoming S9 and S9+ flagships in which we can observe the bezel-less display on the front side and compared to Galaxy S8 device it is somewhat thinner. Also, the popular 91Mobiles group has also shared some of the original render images of Galaxy S9 and S9+ smartphones in which we can clearly observe that there is only dual-camera setup featured on Galaxy S9+ but not in Galaxy S9 series.

There is also a big change in fingerprint sensor position however it remains on the rear side but the size of the fingerprint sensor is reduced and it is placed exactly below the rear camera lens. The big disappointment is that we’ve heard that in-screen fingerprint reader will be featured on Samsung Galaxy S9 series, but it seems that Samsung not yet developed this feature and we have to wait few more years for this type of technology.

Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ Highlights

From the leaked Galaxy S9 and S9+ renders it also feature different other highlights such as heart rate sensor and LED flash has been placed on the rear side of the device. The shared renders also reveals that Galaxy S9 device also features a USB Type-C port, speakers, microphone and 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom of the device.

As far as the pricing concerned there’s no news about the pricing but comparing with its predecessor Galaxy S8 flagship, the all-new Galaxy S9 and S9+ variants are going to be pricing around £689 and £800.
