Lenovo has come out with a new smartphone in India on Wednesday this Chinese Company has launched Lenovo P2 which is a Midrange smartphone. This device is going to carry some interesting Battery life and it is priced for Rs.16,999 for the 3 GB RAM variant and Rs.17,999 for the 4 GB RAM variant. This smartphone was originally introduced at IFA last year, but it started getting into the markets recently.
Rounding off the specifications device carries an attractive design with metal body and chamfered edges and it also has good powerful hardware the display on the device is a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 2.5D Gorilla glass.The pixel density of the display is 401 PPI and the screen is a Super AMOLED display which means 1920 X 1080. The phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset with Octa-Core CPU of 2.0 GHz and Cortex A-53. There are two variants of the device where one of them is a 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM and with the Internal storage option of 32 GB and another one is a 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM and with the Internal storage option of 32 GB, it can also be expandable up to 128 GB.There is a Fingerprint scanner on the front of the device. The phone carries an Adreno 506 GPU.
The phone has a Hybrid dual-SIM support which are 4G and the other one is standby and both slots are for Nano SIM.The device comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.The user interface and software features have been customised by the company.
The device is packed with a 13-Megapixel Rear camera with Sony IMX258 sensor and rear camera has Dual LED Flash, PDAF, and as the Front camera is concerned, it is a 5-Megapixel Camera.
The battery on the device is a 5,100 mAh which is a non-removable battery and it has support for USB 2.0 Port which means it has support for fast charging. The company claims that it supports fast charging and it is going 30 percent faster than Quick Charge 2.0.Lenovo is going to supply a 24w charger with P2.
The device will be available in two colours which are Champagne Gold and Graphite Gray. Other highlights of this device are that Lenovo P2 will have Dual apps support and the number of pre-installed of apps can be deleted.
