Nokia is coming back to the smartphone industry after two years and this time HMD Global is going to be the new hardware partner of the company. Previously the company has been with Microsoft, which has acquired the Lumia business and which didn’t quite make it big. But this time HMD in association with Nokia has launched their first smartphone, which is Nokia 6 and this is going to be sold in China exclusively and this is a midrange device which is going to cost around $245.This device will be running on Android, not like previous Microsoft OS.
Rounding off the specifications the device was made from solid block of 6000 series aluminum and it comes with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display, 2.5D Gorilla glass laminated with a polarizer layer.The pixel density of the display is 403 PPI and the screen is an IPS LCD display which means 1920 X 1080. The phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset with Octa-Core CPU of 1.4 GHz and Cortex A-53 there is only one variant where the device which is having 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM and with the Internal storage option of 64 GB and it can also be expandable up to 128 GB.There is a Fingerprint scanner on the front of the device. The phone carries an Adreno 505 GPU.
The phone has a Hybrid dual-SIM support which are 4G and the other one is standby and both slots are for Nano SIM.The device comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
The device is packed with a 16-Megapixel Rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and the rear camera has Dual LED Flash, PDAF, and as the Front camera is concerned, it is an 8-Megapixel Camera with f/2.0 aperture.
