People complain that they don’t see innovation nowadays. The same old square design with those huge boring bezels. We have got some phones that are sure unique but they surely aren’t affordable at 7000 dollars(Vertu Signature).Well, Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus Review proved you wrong and has surprised you, hopefully. With the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8+, I am not surprised that all the geeks have had a vouch for having that phone or at least holding it.It is also no surprise that I was also one of them and here is the review of the Samsung Galaxy s8+ also after the hype is over.I have held the ruby hand-made phone from Vertu back in time and that was sure the definition of premium but the galaxy s8 plus is nothing short if not more.

I have held the ruby hand-made phone from Vertu back in time and that was sure the definition of premium but the galaxy s8 plus is nothing short if not more. With the Galaxy S8, it is also no secret that Samsung wanted to compensate for the whole Samsung Note 7 fiasco but they also had a vision of changing how smartphones look like.

It is quite evident that they wanted their flagship killers to be an example and a create a benchmark for the other flagships coming this year. However creating a benchmark is comparatively than maintaining the created one and it will be very interesting to see how Samsung carries it to its upcoming flagship devices.

Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus Review DESIGN & BUILD

This time they didn’t only refine the phone but totally redesigned it and they also were honest to their tagline this time. The biggest reason why it looks from every other smartphone out there is the thin bezels and the narrow but long screen. The aspect ratio for sure is weird but you will love this.Watching videos other than youtube can be a bit irritating because of the black bars.

Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus Review QUALITY & DISPLAY

The display is really pleasing to watch and if you switch to Quad HD then things can’t get better. The display is bright enough to be visible in the blazing sun.The speakers are good but get muffled as they are downward facing. The phone is charged via a USB Type-C cable which I really like, really like the fact that they are going for dedicated Micro SD card slots which are highly underrated and we see it very rarely nowadays in most smartphones especially the flagship ones.

The phone is made of full glass, its slippery, fingerprint magnet, easy to break but above all this, it is straight up gorgeous. Before I say engineering at its best in 2017 I ‘ll wait for the iPhones.

Performance (Including Software)

Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus Review Performance (Including Software)

The performance is nothing you should worry about, it has top of the line of the chipset and Samsung has been working hard on improving their heavy skin and so far it has held up pretty good. The phone has been very snappy and there have been no noticeable lags except the rare ones. The skin also has some use as some useless tricks up its sleeves and they might make the experience better for you.

Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus Review camera

The camera is the same module which Samsung says to be having some software improvements. It is still great but I would have liked to have some dual camera goodness. The rear camera is as good as it was last year. The super fast autofocus and that low aperture help it clicks some stellar images. The bokeh coming out is also very pleasing to the eye.The camera app has pro mode for video and photo which is also a very good feature.

The awkward fingerprint placement results in the camera getting smudges and it becomes annoying at times to clean the sensor before taking photos. Here are few camera samples which were taken on both of the devices

The fingerprint scanner is how it is supposed to be, blazing fast yet awkwardly placed. You have already seen a lot of rants so, I’ll save up mine for some other day.The iris scanner is not quite there and the fact you cannot unlock while wearing glasses is a big grieve on its own.The face unlock is not at all good because it can be easily bypassed.I would really like to say that Samsung could not excel in the security side of things.

The legendary Bixby is here and it’s useless at best. This is one if the biggest failures in the history of Samsung’s attempt at copying voice assistant’s from none other than Google Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus Review. The phone also lags for a second when it swipes left to see the Bixby page.It is a very bad google now cards rip off and the voice assistant preview could not even tell who is the prime minister of the united states when asked. It is a hit or a miss situation here. They seem to fail just as they did with the S Voice.

I have mixed feelings about the battery life.I used to get more than a day sometimes or sometimes just trying hard to get through the day.The low power modes on the Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus Review are really very effective and do help you to save up some battery at the last minute.

The calls have been particularly clear and there were no issues in call quality. The sound output via the earpiece is also very good and Jio VoLTE also works flawlessly in the testing of Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus Review.

This phone is a really great buy for anyone looking forward to getting a flagship in 2017.The Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus Review innovative design, fast processor, best in class camera and the super premium build all make the Samsung Galaxy S8 a complete package and the only package someone would need to get their job done also in a pretty fast way.
