Samsung has just launched the Galaxy On7 Prime in India. It is a midrange smartphone that was launched on Wednesday at an event in Gurgaon. It has many interesting features such the new Samsung Mall visual search, Samsung Pay Mini supper and also a 13-megapixel camera on the front and the back. Specifications Of Galaxy On7 Prime

The Galaxy On7 has a Nano Dual-SIM Slot and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Samsung’s own Experience 8.5 on top. The device sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) LCD Display with 16M colour depth. It is powered by Samsung’s own Octa-Core Exynos 7870 SoC clocked at 1.6Ghz, and comes in 3 GB or 4 GB RAM Variants.

As for the camera, the On7 Prime has a 13-Mega Pixel CMOS rear camera with a f/1.9 aperture and autofocus capability. The front camera carries the same sensor and aperture but does not have the autofocus feature. The Galaxy On7 Prime has two storage variants –  32 GB and 64 GB – which are expandable up to 256 GB with the help of a MicroSD Card.

As far as connectivity goes, the On7 Prime includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS / A-GPS, Micro-USB, 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth v4.1. The device has an accelerometer, proximity, and ambient light sensors. More importantly, a fingerprint sensor can be found embedded into the home button of the smartphone and also has hardware capacitive keys.

The On7 Prime has a sufficient 3,300 mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 21 hours of talk time (On 3G WCDMA). It weighs 167 grams and measures 151.7×75.0x8.0mm

The new feature, Samsung Mall allows the user to identify a certain product through visual search and find it across different e-commerce sites by just taking a picture of the product in real life. Users can also buy the identified product via Samsung Mall’s ‘Universal Cart’. It also lets the user look at products across various shopping sites in a single place. Price And Launch Offers

The device is priced at Rs.12,990 for the 3 GB Ram and 32 GB Storage variant, and the price goes up to Rs. 14,990 for the pumped out variant with 4 GB Ram and 64 GB internal storage. The phone will be available in Black and Gold colour variants in India. It is an Amazon Exclusive and can also be bought from the Samsung Shop. Sale starts on January 20.
