The wait is over, Xiaomi launched a new set of Note series Smartphone’s today which are called Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro variants in India. As we know Xiaomi Note series smartphones are quite popular in Indian mobile market, and it is expected that Xiaomi made over million Note 4 sales in past year. Both the variants are available for the first sale on 22nd February at 12 pm exclusively on Flipkart store, So let’s check out the interesting features that are introduced in new Redmi Note series Smartphone’s.

Redmi Note 5 Pro

We’ve seen a lot of leaked specifications of Xiaomi note series mobiles from past two days, it seems the leaked renders are true. Note 5 Pro sports a powerful hardware setup which is expected to deliver a better mobile performance. It comes with a 5.99 inches Full HD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and it is capable of supporting a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels.

Redmi Note 5 Pro display is coated with 2.5D curved glass technology and there aren’t any physical home buttons are provided, so users will have an On-screen home screen buttons which will make a bigger impact on Android UI users.

Snapdragon 636

Talking about the hardware configurations, the all-new Redmi Note 5 Pro is coming up with a powerful chipset package such as it sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Octa-core processor available in three variants based on RAM and Internal storage space options.

The all new Redmi Note 5 Pro Smartphone is available in three variants combinations, 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 13,999 and 6GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 16,999.

Graphic Performance

Redmi Note 5 Pro variant chipset it comes with two graphics processors such as Kryo 260 and Adreno 506 GPU which is expected to deliver lag-free graphical performance while playing HD quality videos and Heavy graphical games.

Dual-Rear Camera

Coming to camera department, Note 5 Pro variant sports a vertically spaced dual-rear camera setup that features a 12-Mega Pixel + 5-Mega Pixel lenses that offers portrait photography and better-focused captures even in low lighting conditions. It packs with a 1.25micro sensor which is used to capture better light while taking images and the secondary camera is used to capture Bokeh effect.

20-Mega Pixel Selfie Shooter

On the front side, Xiaomi made some big changes in selfie camera with featuring a 20-Mega Pixel Sony IMX376 sensor which is specially designed to deliver best class selfies with the use of Xiaomi’s Beautify 4.0 algorithm and it also has a LED flash so that you can take better selfies than ever before even in dim light conditions.

Long-Lasting Battery

The Redmi Note 5 Pro Smartphone variant supports Dual-SIM networks and there is a fingerprint sensor is provided on the back side of the device. Xiaomi upgraded the battery performance in Note 5 Pro variant, it features a 4,000mAh powerhouse which is claimed to have long-lasting performance compared with other variants. The all-new Note 5 Pro device will run on MIUI 9 version combined with Android Nougat operating system, so we’ve to wait for few more months for Android Oreo update.

It comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor along with an Adreno 506 Graphical chipset, it is available in two variants 3GB + 32GB variant is priced Rs 9,999 and 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 11,999.

Coming to the camera department the all-new Note 5 variant didn’t sport a dual-rear camera lens, instead it comes with a single 12-Mega Pixel rear camera with an aperture of F/2.2 is capable of capturing great images and it is claimed to improved camera experience to a greater extent. There is a 5-Mega Pixel front selfie camera is provided which comes with LED selfie-light, Beautify 4.0 and 30FPS video recording at 1080P.
