Vivo created a lot of hype at and after the MWC event which was held last month. Vivo showcased it’s long planned Vivo X20 Plus which housed the in-display fingerprint sensor and that has since been the talk of the town.A few days earlier, Vivo teased its upcoming device, Vivo X21 at an event which was held on March 19th in China.
The teaser did reveal that the device will contain the under-display fingerprint scanner, although, nothing else was mentioned. Nowadays, it seems like a trend for a smartphone to be leaked on benchmark tests before it’s initial launch. The Vivo X21 was spotted on GeekBench with some of its features which were revealed via the listing.
About Vivo X21
According to the GeekBench report, the Vivo X21 will most probably be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset which was also earlier found on its predecessor, Vivo X20. The chipset is clocked at 1.34 GHz. The Snapdragon 660 SoC is most likely to be coupled along with a 6 GB RAM variant and it may also consist an 8 GB RAM variant, although, there are no reports on it yet.

The alleged Vivo X21 scored 1608 in the single-core test and 5852 in the multi-core test. The test scores seem to be decent keeping in mind that the device is a mid-range one and is priced at a very low range. The Vivo X21 will come with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box according to the GeekBench listing.
Talking about the display, the device is for sure gonna sport the 19:9 aspect ratio bezel-less display with 2280 x 1080 pixel resolution along with the most hyped technology ever, the under-display fingerprint scanner. There have been no details about the front or rear camera of the device or the connectivity options, although, it most probably will be coming in the following week.

The device will be launched in China on March 19th. The poster shared by the company shows a small notch on top of the screen which has now become a trend after Apple adapted it in their flagship, iPhone X.
Reports suggest the device may be launching in other variants too and it’s most likely for a Snapdragon 670 SoC variant to arrive too.
